SEA FEVER - LEAVING A MILLION STORIES

J.M.W Turner's
The Wreck of the Minotaur
I must go down to the sea again.
To the lonely sea and the sky n

All I ask is a tall ship
And a star to stear her by.

The Wheel's Kick, the Wind's Song
And the White Sails Shaking

And the Grey Mist on the Sea's Face
And the Grey Dawn Breaking

To the Whale's way where the wind's like a whetted knife

The sea! the sea! the open sea!
The blue, the fresh, the ever free.
(The Sea by Barry Cornwall)

"I hunger for the sea's edge,
The limit of the land,"

Tired of brick and stone,
I seek the windy green, unquiet sea,

The sun has gone with the sea.

Navies rampage across the surface of the sea, leaving no trace of their trail.

The waves and the winds cry over the vast waters

Dark, heaving, boundless and sublime
The image of Eternity

They that go down to the sea
Do business in great waters. (Psalms, 107:23)

Flung spray and the Blown spume.

Resting the beauty that no seas could tire.

Where nothing but the waves and I
Match the greyness of the sky

Time writes no wrinkle on thine azure brow
Such as creation's dawn beheld,
Thou rollest now.

.

The breaking waves dashed high
On a stern and rock-bound coast

A voice whose sound was like the sea.
Pure as the naked heavens, majestic, free

Ocean calm

Seaman's Soulmate

I must go down to the seas again.
(John Masefield)

The ragng waves of the sea,
Where the wind's like a whetted knife

And the Grey Mist on the Sea's Face
And the Grey Dawn Breaking

The Wheel's Kick, the Wind's Song
And the White Sails Shaking

It's blue sky, white clouds, warm rain and sun.

The soothing, savage sound of the sea
